Trade-in Process & Policies

We'll turn your old video games, Magic cards, and secondhand board games into store credit or cash. Just bring them by. We’re always beating Gamestop’s prices!

The Process:

  1. Bring in whatever you’d like to trade in for us to look at. No appointment necessary.

  2. Depending on the size and nature of the collection you’re bringing in, we may not be able to appraise your trade-in immediately.

  3. If we need more time to evaluate your trade-in, we may ask you to leave it with us after filling out our trade-in waiver. We will call you with our offer once the appraisal process is complete.

  4. Once we’ve made an offer, you have 7 days to either accept it or reject it and pick up your things. 

General Policies

  • We cannot give any pricing estimates before seeing the product in person.

  • All offers made are for store credit, cash, or a split of both. The cash offer is 25% less than the credit offer. For larger offers, cash payments can be made via PayPal by request. We are not able to issue payments by Venmo or CashApp.

  • We require photo ID for cash payouts.

  • We will do our due diligence to try to contact you to make an offer if you’ve left your items with us. Please be sure to leave a valid phone number with your waiver, as that is our primary method of contact.

  • The 7-day window to accept the offer also applies to picking up the cash and anything you’d like to take back, whether or not you’ve accepted the offer. If we cannot get in contact with you to make the offer or if we haven’t heard from you after those 7 days, we’ll put the store credit offer on your account and assume the trade-in and any bags or anything else you’ve left here has been abandoned.

  • Store credit payments cannot be converted to cash at a later date.

Video  Games, Consoles, & Board Games

  • All trade-ins must be clean and in good or better condition. 

  • Board games must have unbroken boxes, all pieces, and a rulebook.

  • We don’t repair or refurbish consoles. Consoles must be in working condition, and include one controller and all necessary cables.

  • We need to test all consoles, controllers, and some high-end games, like Pokemon GBA games, before making an offer. 

    • If you’re missing a controller or necessary cables, we will deduct the cost of replacing it from the offer. 

    • If we are unable to test your console because of missing parts or components, we may refuse the console or offer at a reduced rate.

  • We do not take reproduction video games or modded consoles.

Magic   Cards

  • We check all cards for condition and authenticity. 

  • Cards will need to be removed from sleeves and binders as part of the appraisal process. We exercise utmost care when handling cards, but cannot guarantee the exact card organization will be maintained in the event the trade-in is cancelled.

  • Offers are based on TCG Player market pricing, starting at 50% of market price in store credit for rarer cards. We generally can’t offer money for bulk commons and uncommons. We will make “per inch” offers on bulk cards that come in as part of a larger collection.

  • We do not take any other CCG singles at this time.
