canton games code of conduct
We believe everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to shop, learn, and play. To support this, we ask all patrons of Canton Games to follow our store’s Code of Conduct. If you have questions or concerns about anything, please speak to a member of our staff.

Be Kind
We want Canton Games to be a refuge for all kinds of gamers. No matter your age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual preference, religious beliefs, political beliefs, disabilities, financial situation, experience level, or gaming knowledge, all gamers are treated equally here.
2.
Be a Fair Player
We do not condone lying, cheating, stealing, or unfair tactics in our store. Please follow all game, campaign, and tournament rules and guidelines.
3.
Be Clean
Please clean up after yourself, keep food and drinks covered, and be mindful of your hygiene and wearing strong fragrances. We all know these old Baltimore rowhomes are small and cozy and require us to be close to each other. Some self-care and personal hygiene products are available in our restroom if needed.
4.
Be Friendly to Your Party
Don’t be “that guy.” We ask that you keep competition friendly and refrain from behaviors or conversations that will make others around you uncomfortable.
5.
Be a Gamer, not a Merchant
If you are interested in selling your board games, collectibles, or other tabletop gaming related items, please see a member of our staff. Personal sales and solicitation are not allowed on our premises or in our discord server. This includes advertising competing events.
6.
Be Sober & Responsible
Drugs and alcohol are not allowed on the premises, and intoxicated patrons may be asked to leave. Please keep all smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) to your vehicles or to a safe distance away from the store. Be mindful that smells travel easily into our small store from anyone smoking just out front, and no one wants to work or play around strong smells.
7.
Be Mindful of Young Gamers
Canton Games is a family establishment. Please keep your language PG and be patient with kids around the store. Children under the age of 13 must have adult supervision.

We’re all a bunch of nerdy weirdos in a city of weird and charm, and we'd love for you to join us. Whether you stay and play or find a new game to take home, we hope you have fun at Canton Games!
