The crew of the East India Trading Company HCS Pathfinder becomes trapped in sea ice while exploring the northern passage. A sailor that fell overboard 5 days past is found alive on the ice and paranoia begins creeping through the crew as talk of witchcraft and unnatural things spread. As winter deepens, something terrible stirs below the ice.
